Have you ever wondered what it really means to study fashion in Milan ? Not as a tourist, but as an insider. Imagine walking among the Art Nouveau buildings of Porta Venezia and then sitting in a classroom with students from all over the world. This is what happens every day at Milan Fashion Campus, a school that has decided to make fashion a concrete, accessible and, above all, customizable experience.
In a training landscape dominated by long and theoretical academic courses, MFC offers an agile alternative: intensive courses that start every Monday , without waiting, without fixed cycles. This means being able to dedicate 1 week or 4 months to your growth, depending on the time (and budget) you have.
The real strength of this approach? Flexibility. Whether you are a recent graduate, a designer on a break or a buyer with a twenty-year career behind you, here you can build a path that reflects who you are. From Womenswear Design courses to Streetwear Menswear , through immersive experiences like the Milan Fashion Week Experience , each module is designed to develop real skills that can be used in the sector today.
All led by a founder who has not only studied fashion: Angelo Russica, former collaborator of Gianni Versace, consultant for several important Italian and foreign companies including the Max Mara Group...... > continue reading to find out more or watch the following Video.
His international experiences (Japan, China, Spain) have become part of the school's DNA, which today welcomes students from more than 50 countries. His vision? To offer not only technique, but a true culture of taste, identity and personal design.
And we're not just talking about fashion design. The Fashion Styling courses, for example, combine color theory, body analysis, professional shooting and the use of Canva to present looks, up to the construction of a portfolio. Or, for those who dream of creating their own brand, there are modules on AI & Fashion Design , Social Media Marketing , and even on how to launch your own line in a conscious way.
Everything happens in small groups, with individual attention, and a teaching oriented to "doing". Lessons in English or Italian, assistance with visa (if you come from outside the EU), and a network of local contacts to find accommodation in Milan. No mandatory entry requirements, just the desire to learn.
Understanding where to go in fashion is never easy. But there are paths that help you understand where to start — or where to restart — with concrete tools, in an authentic context.
Milan Fashion Campus is much more than a school: it is a creative laboratory in the beating heart of the Italian capital of style. Founded by those who know the sector from the inside, it offers short, intensive and customizable courses for those who want to learn by doing. Each course ends with the release of a certificate, and the opportunity to enrich your portfolio with projects followed by professionals in the sector.

🧑🏫 Who is behind it? Angelo Russica ,
Angelo Russica: From Gianni Versace's Atelier to the Industrial Heart of Fashion
Angelo Russica has not only had the privilege of working alongside creative legends such as Gianni Versace, but he has also built a solid foundation in the fashion industry . His formative years include a pivotal experience in Madrid, Spain, where he worked within the Induyco Group, the fashion division of retail giant El Corte Inglés . This dual experience has allowed Angelo to develop a rare and balanced perspective that blends artistic vision with the realities of manufacturing and supply chain management.
This holistic expertise has proven invaluable as he has consulted for major fashion companies including Marzotto Group, Max Mara Group, Miroglio Vestebene and later internationally with Lancy Group in China. His ability to navigate both the design studio and corporate boardrooms has made him a unique figure in the ever-changing global fashion landscape.
After completing his studies in Milan, Angelo began his career as an assistant to Giorgio Correggiari , a pivotal moment that saw him cross paths with emerging designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana . His career was briefly interrupted by a year of military service, but upon his return, he quickly resumed his ascent.
He joined Barbas, an Italian menswear company, before taking on one of his most formative roles: assistant designer to Gianni Versace. During four transformative years, Angelo contributed to the women’s and men’s collections for the Genny, Spazio and Versus lines – an experience that would leave an indelible mark on his approach to fashion.
After returning from Spain, Angelo continued to strengthen his international profile with consulting roles in Japan , including work with World Co. Ltd and King Company, further broadening his global perspective.
He founded the Milan Fashion Campus, initially as an innovative online training platform , which later evolved into a physical school in Milan . Since then, the Campus has become a globally recognized institution, licensing its Women's Fashion Styling course across borders, in countries such as Russia, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Thailand , continuing Angelo's mission to share the Italian fashion experience with the world.
